I was kinda bummed out that so few of my so-called friends remembered my birthday this year and my in-laws all had to keep reminding each other...while I was standing right in front of them. Not like I wanted a whole bunch of attention but I suppose when you don't get ANY you feel forgotten. I also had to buy my own birthday cake.

fukn boohoo right. lol

All in all the trip was ok. I'm tired still and sore from prolonged sitting in awkward positions on the several planes and hours of driving it took to get us there and back again. At least I got to spend a little time in the pool.

I'm back at work and wishing I had taken the extra day off. Damn it.
