Judging from the archives, we cannot truly move forward without a respectful nod to the past. But if this is all that we have, then sea change has to be made to remain relevant. Not really pushing the envelope any more, more like accepting it for what it is and improving on the current formula. In other words, I'm really irked about not being able to go to Colorado. But there will be other times, I'm sure. Time and circumstances may force us to change, but there always will be the good memories (as well as the regrets) that form the basis of what to look forward to. I'm sure this has been expressed in different ways over the life of this site, as well as by many others in the past, but I'm feeling philosophical and transcendental this morning.
